Facies Architecture and High-Resolution Sequence Stratigraphy of the Upper Cretaceous Gallup Sandstone, Window Rock, Arizona

My research involves trying to better understand the vertical and lateral facies and sequence stratigraphic relationships of the Gallup Sandstone Formation within the vicinity of Window Rock, Arizona and with sections measured north and south of my location by Ph.D. candidates Wen Lin and Sandeep Sharma. This research will help in developing a more accurate depositional facies model for the Gallup as well as help in filling in correlation gaps for high-resolution sequence stratigraphic boundaries to better understand their regional relationships.
