My MSc. research will be focused on using detrital zircon provenance analysis to construct a sediment routing system for the Cretaceous Gallup Sandstone Formation in New Mexico. This will require synthesizing data on climate, tectonic regime, glacioeustasy and zircon source areas during the depositional timeframe of the Gallup Sandstone Formation.
